LOMO 19À18 was made in the former USSR in the period of 1964- 1972. This is à universal cardioid studio microphone with à valve amplifier. The amplifier is made on à miniature low-noise triode 6S6B. The capsule as far as its construction is concerned - repeats the famous NEUMANN capsule type ̹¯² Î.Ñ.Ì.- 5à made for NEUMANN CMV-3 (Telefunken ÅLÀ-Ì 302/2) microphones. The large gold covered membrane Æ 33mm is glued along its perimeter to à massive brass electrode. From the rear the capsule has à regulating brass cover. Due to such à construction of the capsule there was achieved à soft microphone sound.
The microphone is supplied in à set with PSU BP-2 switchable for both 110V and 220V.
